Professor Feiock is the Augustus B. Turnbull Professor of Public Administration and holds the Jerry Collins Endowed Chair at Florida State University.  He is the founding Director of the Local Governance Research Program and Laboratory program at Florida State University and he served as Editor of Public Administration Review, from 2013-2017. He has published five books and over 180 articles on local government, sustainability, and local democratic institutions and is internationally recognized for his expertise in local democratic institutions.  He is a National Academy of Public Administration Fellow, served on the Board of Scientific Counselors for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Co-Directs the NSF Sustainability Research Network on Sustainable Healthy Cities.
